VSOM has joined the Diversity Charter Slovenia

The Sežana College of Materials Design (VSOM) has taken an important step toward an even more inclusive and open work environment—the organization has joined the Diversity Charter Slovenia initiative. By signing the charter, VSOM joins a community of organizations that actively promote diversity, equal opportunities, and non-discrimination in the workplace.

The Diversity Charter is a voluntary European initiative that encourages companies, public institutions, and organizations to develop diversity policies and create a work environment where differences among people are recognized as an asset. Slovenia joined the European Diversity Charter platform in 2017, and today it brings together numerous organizations that believe in the power of an inclusive society.

By joining VSOM, it reaffirms its commitment to the values of respect, equality, and openness. The charter emphasizes the importance of diversity in terms of gender, age, ethnicity, religion, disability, and sexual orientation, while also highlighting that diverse environments foster greater creativity, innovation, and long-term success.

At VSOM, we believe that the diverse perspectives and experiences of individuals are key to progress. By joining the Diversity Charter, the organization is reinforcing its commitment to fostering an inclusive culture in which all individuals are treated with respect and as equals.

With this step, VSOM is not only reinforcing its values but also actively contributing to a broader vision of a society in which diversity is recognized as a source of strength—as the foundation for cooperation, understanding, and shared development.
