At the Sežana College of Materials Design (VSOM), in collaboration with the Incubator Sežana and the Higher Vocational College of the Srečko Kosovel School Center in Sežana (VSŠ), we are co-creating the Study Library Sežana.
The library has become a full member of the COBISS system, which enables its integration into the national bibliographic network and access to a wide range of professional literature.
Access to Knowledge and Professional Literature
The Study Library Sežana offers more than 1,000 different resources in the fields of design, materials, and related disciplines.
Among them are more than 50 books that are the only copies in the entire COBISS database, which further underscores the value of the collection.
Support for Study and Research
The library provides students and researchers with access to high-quality and rare resources that support the learning process, research work, and project development.
A significant portion of the collection focuses on the fields of material design, architecture, product design, and the creative industries.
The Role of the Community and Donations
A large portion of the library’s collection has been acquired through donations. We therefore invite all individuals and organizations to contribute to the library’s development by donating books, magazines, or other professional literature.
Together, we are helping to create an accessible and high-quality learning environment.
Connection to Education
The Study Library Sežana plays a vital role in the educational system of VSOM and VSŠ, as it supports the academic program and the development of students’ competencies.
