This is a concrete project in which students and experts affiliated with VSOM\u2014the Se\u017eana College of Materials Design\u2014actively participated.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=\u201d1\/2\u2033][vc_column_text css=\u201d\u201d]\n<h3 data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"734\">Stone as a Storyteller<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"736\" data-end=\"994\">In this project, Karst stone comes to life as a vessel for mythical stories. Stone markers have been placed in the natural environment to guide visitors through the mythical landscape of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rodik\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rodik.<\/a> The result is:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1056\" data-end=\"1210\">\n<li data-start=\"1056\" data-end=\"1076\">\n<p data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1076\"><strong>28<\/strong> sculptures,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1077\" data-end=\"1105\">\n<p data-start=\"1079\" data-end=\"1105\"><strong>13<\/strong> trail markers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1210\">\n<p data-start=\"1108\" data-end=\"1210\">and the Babe installation,<br data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1145\" \/>which together weigh a total of <strong>40 tons<\/strong> of hand-carved Karst stone.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=\u201d1\/2\u2033][vc_single_image image=\u201d1569\u2033 img_size=\u201dfull\u201d alignment=\u201dcenter\u201d css=\u201d\u201d][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=\u201d\u201d]\n<h3 data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1264\">The Knowledge and Creativity of Students and Professors<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1266\" data-end=\"1418\">The project brought together professional expertise, contemporary design, and traditional stonemasonry techniques. Participants affiliated with VSOM played an important role:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1420\" data-end=\"1656\">\n<li data-start=\"1420\" data-end=\"1497\">\n<p data-start=\"1422\" data-end=\"1497\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spelasedivy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u0160pela \u0160edivy<\/a> \u2013 sculptor and graduate of the Se\u017eana Higher Vocational College,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1566\">\n<p data-start=\"1500\" data-end=\"1566\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.obrazislovenskihpokrajin.si\/en\/oseba\/damjan-svara\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Damjan \u0160vara<\/a> \u2013 academic sculptor and lecturer at VSOM,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1567\" data-end=\"1613\">\n<p data-start=\"1569\" data-end=\"1613\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.markodrpic.si\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marko Drpi\u0107<\/a> \u2013 typographer and calligrapher,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1614\" data-end=\"1656\">\n<p data-start=\"1616\" data-end=\"1656\"><a href=\"https:\/\/si.linkedin.com\/in\/toma%C5%BE-vadjunec-b7a5601\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toma\u017e Vadjunec<\/a> \u2013 project mentor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1658\" data-end=\"1774\">Their work demonstrates the importance of education in developing high-quality, sustainable solutions in the built environment.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=\u201d\u201d]\n<h3 data-start=\"1776\" data-end=\"1835\">Sustainable Tourism and Design Without Unnecessary Interventions<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1837\" data-end=\"2167\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.go2025.eu\/en\/imports\/poi\/visit-kras\/the-rodik-mythical-park\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mitski Park Rodik<\/a> project respects the natural landscape. The stone markers blend seamlessly with the environment and enable a sustainable tourism experience without visual pollution.
